Day 1 — Hampi
Depart Bengaluru and travel towards Hampi/Hosapete by road. After arrival, check into the selected hotel and allow time to refresh. Keep the afternoon light so the journey begins at an unhurried pace. Later, explore the historic Hampi Bazaar area and visit the surroundings of Virupaksha Temple, one of the most important surviving temple complexes in Hampi. As evening approaches, head towards Hemakuta Hill for panoramic views across the ancient landscape and a beautiful sunset. Return to the hotel for dinner and a relaxed introduction to the stories of the Vijayanagara Empire.
